Why I'm Reccing This: The creators bring this universe to life using a mishmash of political intrigue and characters that I personally find stay true to their canon values. Somehow, this series also expands on some of the loose ends of the drama, despite being set a universe away from it. The way the tensions between Dixing, Haixing and Yashou are explained, the injustice experienced by Dixingren under Zhao Xinci's thumb is reminiscent of their canon treatment. The unexplored politics of Guardian is something that has always appealed to me, and this story has that in spades.

I missed out the creator tags, but thought I had put the other tags in. Did the post show up with no tags? Apologies, will be more mindful of that in future posts!

Yeah, for some reason the tags didn't show up. :( I added a category: f/f tag for the Li Qian/Zhu Hong ship - is that okay? (It's in addition to category: m/m)

If you mistype or misspell one tag then all the tags don't show up. The first tag will show up (unless that's the one that's wrong). I discovered this with my first post too, lol. Now I just put one tag and then I edit the post and add all the rest from the selection box directly, it's one more step but it ends up being faster overall.

Yes - because users aren't allowed to create tags, it knocks out any tag that doesn't already exist, and as a consequence knocks out all other tags along with it so you end up with either one or none when the fic posts itself; you get a warning that tags haven't posted, but if you don't know to go back in and correct, you may be lost.
